The jump ring features a 3mm inner diameter, so just ensure the widest part of your chosen chain fits through. If not, the jump ring can be gently opened and closed using pliers (or tweezers!).
If you're threading it directly into a chain (such as with a charm bracelet), the gauge to note is 0.9mm.
